Saint Joseph's Oratory

This morning I payed a visit to Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal, another one of the many tourist attractions in Montréal, Canada. It is Canada's largest church with Italian Renaissance architecture and was completed in 1967.

Although it did look rather spectacular from the outside, if you're in Montréal for a weekend, I would recommend the Notre-Dame Basilica over this Oratory. The church to me lacked, and the interior was dull. Perhaps I'm just use to old cathedrals and basilicas with beautiful stain glass windows and paintings but if you do have time, I would say why not pay a visit? The entrance is free and there is a bus that takes you directly outside.
